Set up LinkedIn ads

LinkedIn ads reach people by job title, company and seniority — targeting no other platform can match. They are also expensive per click, which makes them B2B-only in practice, and worth it only when the math of your deal size supports it.

What you need

Your LinkedIn Company Page (see the Page guide) — ads run in its name.

Create the ads account

  1. Go to LinkedIn Campaign Manager (linkedin.com/campaignmanager) and create an ad account.
  2. Associate it with your Company Page, set currency (permanent), add billing.

Install the Insight Tag

  1. In Campaign Manager, under Analyze, find the Insight Tag and add its snippet to your website (or through your site platform's integrations).
  2. Define conversions (demo booked, guide downloaded, contact submitted) so campaigns can optimize toward them.

The rules that keep it efficient

  • Send traffic to substance — a guide, case study or tool page, never a bare homepage. CPCs are too high to waste the click.
  • Targeting is the whole game: job title (or function + seniority) plus company size; keep audiences tight but above LinkedIn's minimum (~50k works well).
  • State who it is for in the first line of the creative; document ads and thought-leader ads outperform banner-style creative.
  • Uncheck the Audience Network expansion when starting — keep spend on LinkedIn itself.

Connect it to Huuve

When the LinkedIn Ads connector is enabled for your workspace, open Connections in Huuve and authorize the ads account. Campaign results feed Huuve's intelligence alongside your organic LinkedIn performance.

If something fails

  • Cannot create the account: your personal profile must be an admin of the Company Page first.
  • Conversions at zero: the Insight Tag is not firing — verify it in Campaign Manager's tag status before judging any campaign.
