What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, keep the Service secure, understand how it is used, and measure whether our advertising works. They are set from your first visit. This page says which ones and how to block them in your browser.
Types of cookies we use
| Type | Purpose | Set by |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Sign-in, session security, and core functionality. The Service cannot run without these. | Huuve |
| Preferences | Remember settings such as language and layout choices, and whether you dismissed the cookie notice. | Huuve |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4 (through Google Tag Manager where configured). It tells us which pages are visited and how the product is used, so we can improve it. | |
| Advertising | The Meta Pixel and the OpenAI Ads pixel. They measure whether our ads on Facebook, Instagram and ChatGPT lead to sign-ups and purchases. | Meta, OpenAI |
The notice, and your choices
Visitors in Europe see a small notice at the bottom of the page on their first visit. It says that we use cookies, links to this page, and has one button to dismiss it. Dismissing it is remembered in your browser so the notice does not return. The notice does not change which cookies are set.
You control cookies in your browser. You can block or delete them at any time, for all sites or for huuve.com alone, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies while keeping the rest. Some features stop working if you block the essential ones. Google, Meta and OpenAI also offer their own opt-outs for advertising measurement, linked in their policies below.
Third-party cookies
The analytics and advertising cookies above are set by Google, Meta and OpenAI on our behalf. Their use of data is governed by their own policies: Google's privacy policy, Meta's privacy policy and OpenAI's privacy policy. Embedded content, such as the meeting scheduler on our booking page, may set its own cookies when you open it. We update the table above whenever our tools change.
