How Huuve works with Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 records what happens on your site after someone clicks: which channel they came from, which page they landed on, and whether they did the thing that matters, a call, a booking, a sale. Huuve reads it so your marketing follows results, not guesses.

What we read

Once you connect your GA4 property, we read:

  • Sessions by channel. How many visits each source sent: organic search, social, paid, direct, referral.
  • Key events. The actions you count as wins, a form sent, a booking made, a purchase. GA4 calls these key events; they are the numbers your marketing answers to.
  • Landing pages. Where visitors arrive and where they leave, so we know which pages hold attention and which lose it.
  • Like-for-like periods. This week against last week, this month against last month. Movement only means something against a fair comparison.

We read your data. We never post to it or change your property.

What we do with it

Before each campaign, we read your channels and key events for the period against the one before. Then the plan answers what the numbers say:

  • A channel converted? The next campaign gives it more weight.
  • A channel sent traffic that did nothing? We fix the message or the landing page before we ask for more reach.
  • Traffic up, conversions flat? That is a page problem, not a reach problem, and the plan says so.

Each campaign note explains the movement in plain words: what went up, what went down, and what we changed because of it.

What you get

You see which posts and channels bring customers, not just visits. Your weekly 15 minutes go to approving a plan already grounded in your own numbers. No dashboards to read, no reports to build.

What you need

A GA4 property on your site with at least one key event set up for the action that means money to you. Our setup guide walks you through it in a few minutes.

Google Analytics runs as part of the Website channel.

The audience

Who you reach on Google Analytics.

What happens AFTER the click: which channels bring people who actually do something, and which pages lose them. Its strategic role is the honest broker between every other playbook's claims. The place where 'that channel works' becomes a number with a conversion attached.

Best practices

What works on Google Analytics.

Good to know
Read channels, not totals: which source moved and whether conversion moved with it. Compare like-for-like periods (week vs prior week). Traffic up with conversions flat means an acquisition win but a relevance gap. Fix the landing before buying more reach.
What to measure
Conversions and conversion rate BY CHANNEL over like-for-like periods; assisted conversions for the channels that plant seeds. Totals and pageviews are vanity; unconfigured events make everything downstream fiction.
What to avoid
Watching totals; no conversion events; comparing unlike periods; last-click worship that kills the channels doing the assisting; dashboards nobody acts on.
