Set up a TikTok Business account
TikTok is the cheapest organic reach available to a small brand right now — the feed is interest-based, so a good video from a zero-follower account can still find thousands of viewers. A Business account is free and unlocks analytics, a website link, and publishing through official tools.
Create and switch
- Download TikTok and sign up with your business email.
- Open your profile, then the menu in the top right, then Settings and privacy.
- Go to Account, then Switch to Business Account.
- Pick the category that matches your business.
Set the profile up
- Username and name: your brand name, spelled the way customers search it.
- Bio: one line on what you make or do, with personality — TikTok rewards being human. Add your website link (Business accounts get a clickable link).
- Profile photo: logo or a recognisable face.
What to know before posting
- Raw beats polished: a phone video of you talking, making, packing or showing beats produced content.
- Hook in the first second or two — say or show the payoff immediately.
- 15-35 seconds is the sweet spot; post 3-5 times a week and let consistency compound.
- Use trending sounds early; ride formats, not fads that already peaked.
Connect it to Huuve
In Huuve, open Connections, press Connect next to TikTok, and log in with the account. Approve the permissions and you are set — Huuve drafts captions and schedules videos for your approval, with TikTok's own privacy and disclosure settings honored per post.
If something fails
- Login loop in the connect window: finish any pending TikTok verification (email or phone) in the app first, then retry.
- Analytics look empty: Business analytics start from the switch; they fill in after a few days of activity.
- Connection expires: TikTok sessions end on password changes — press Reconnect in Huuve when prompted.
