Set up a Telegram channel for your business

A Telegram channel is a broadcast line to people who chose to hear from you — no algorithm decides your reach. Every post lands with every subscriber, which cuts both ways: substance keeps them; noise loses them permanently.

Create the channel

  1. In Telegram, start a new message and choose New Channel.
  2. Name it after your business, add the logo, and write a description that says what subscribers get and how often.
  3. Make it public with a clean t.me/yourbrand link so it is shareable and searchable.

Set it up properly

  • Pin a welcome message: what this channel is, what you will send, how to reach you.
  • Enable comments if you want conversation (Telegram does this by linking a discussion group — the channel offers to create one).
  • Put the t.me link in your other bios, your email footer, your site.

The posting discipline

  • A couple of substantial updates a week beats daily noise: releases, real deals, real news.
  • Formatting, images and links all work well — Telegram is information-dense by culture.
  • Use silent sends for non-urgent posts (the option is on the send button). Respect for notifications is why people stay subscribed.

Connect it to Huuve

When the Telegram connector is enabled for your workspace, open Connections in Huuve and follow the bot-connect flow (Telegram channels are operated through a bot you add as channel admin). Huuve then drafts channel updates for your approval and publishes on schedule.

If something fails

  • The bot cannot post: it must be added as an administrator of the channel with the post permission — check the channel's admin list.
