Set up Snapchat for your business

Snapchat's audience skews young — if your customers are under 25, they are here daily, and few local businesses compete for their attention. If they are not, put the effort elsewhere; honest triage is the first best practice.

Create the account and public profile

  1. Download Snapchat and sign up with your business email.
  2. Pick a username close to your brand name.
  3. From your profile, create a Public Profile — this is the business-facing surface where Stories, a bio, your location and a website link live.
  4. Add the logo as your Bitmoji-free avatar, write the one-line bio, link the site.

What works

  • Casual, face-led vertical video: day-in-the-life, drops, behind-the-scenes, staff moments.
  • Unpolished and personal beats produced — Snapchat is the least "content-y" platform there is.
  • A few Stories a week is enough; feeling current matters more than volume.

Connect it to Huuve

When the Snapchat connector is enabled for your workspace, open Connections in Huuve and authorize the account. Huuve helps keep the cadence alive with drafts and reminders matched to what you capture.

If something fails

  • No Public Profile option: the account is too new — use it normally for a few days, then retry.
