Switch on SEO for your website
Your website is already part of your Huuve workspace: you gave it at signup, and it lives under Settings, Workspace. SEO is the license that lets Huuve work on it. Nothing to authorize, nothing to install.
What you need
- Your website address on the workspace (Settings, Workspace). If it is missing, add it first. SEO cannot switch on without it.
- Optional: Google Search Console connected. The audit works without it, but Search Console shows which pages already move, and the plan uses that.
- Optional: a way to publish. A connected Shopify blog receives finished articles directly. Any other site can receive them through a publish endpoint (an HTTPS address Huuve posts each article to), set when you switch SEO on. Without either, articles are drafted for you to paste.
Switch it on
- Open Admin, Connectors.
- Under Website & search, tap SEO.
- If your site can receive articles over an API, open Blog publishing and enter the endpoint, the access key and the body format. Otherwise leave it closed.
- Tap Switch on SEO.
The row turns to connected within a few seconds. The first search audit starts right away.
What runs, and when
- The monthly SEO audit: rankings, the keywords you already rank for, backlinks and on-page issues, pulled once a month and shown under SEO & GEO.
- The plan, once per strategy period: the keywords to go for (positions 5 to 30 move fastest), the site moves worth making, and up to three article briefs.
- The articles: drafted through the blog writer, waiting under SEO & GEO, Blog. You approve, edit or skip, and publish from there.
Every audit and every draft is billed on the search meter at the vendor's cost. You can see the spend under Admin, Billing.
If something goes wrong
- "Add your website first": the workspace has no website. Settings, Workspace, then try again.
- No audit after a day: the workspace needs an active subscription for the paid loop; the audit starts on the first payment.
- Articles never publish: check the publish endpoint answers with 200 and accepts the body format you picked, or connect the Shopify blog.
