Set up your Facebook Page for business

Your Facebook Page is more than a social profile: it anchors Instagram's business features, Meta ads, and WhatsApp Business, and it ranks in Google for your brand name. Even if Facebook is not your main channel, the Page is infrastructure worth setting up properly.

Create the Page

  1. Log into your personal Facebook account (Pages are managed by people; your personal profile stays private and invisible to Page visitors).
  2. From the menu, choose Pages, then Create new Page.
  3. Name it exactly as your business is called — this is what people search.
  4. Pick the closest category (you can add a second), and write the bio: what you do, for whom, where.

Fill in everything

Facebook Pages with complete information rank better and convert better:

  • Profile photo: your logo. Cover photo: your product, location or team — something real.
  • Contact and location: address, opening hours, phone, email, website. This block is what most visitors came for.
  • Action button: set it to what you actually want (Book now, Send message, Visit website).
  • Username: claim a clean @handle so your Page URL is shareable.

Good habits from day one

  • Post 3-5 times a week; native photos and videos outperform shared links.
  • Reply to comments and messages quickly — response time shows publicly on the Page.
  • Ask your first happy customers for recommendations; an empty review section is a trust gap.

Connect it to Huuve

In Huuve, open Connections and press Connect next to Facebook. Sign in with the personal account that has full control of the Page, pick the Page, and approve the permissions. Huuve then drafts platform-native Facebook posts for your approval and syncs results back.

If something fails

  • The Page is missing in the chooser: you have a role on the Page but not full control — the Page owner must grant it.
  • Personal profile instead of a Page: Huuve publishes to Pages, not personal profiles; create the Page first.
  • Connection stops working later: a Facebook password change or security checkup ends sessions. Press Reconnect on the Connections page.
