Connect Instagram to Huuve

What you need

• An Instagram professional account (Business or Creator). Personal accounts cannot be connected; you can switch for free in the Instagram app under Settings, then Account type and tools.
• For Business accounts: the linked Facebook Page, and you must have full control of that Page. Instagram business connections sign in through Facebook.

Steps

1. Open Connections in Huuve and press Connect next to Instagram.
2. A sign-in window from the platform opens. Log in with the Facebook account that manages your Page (or your Instagram login for Creator accounts).
3. Pick the Instagram account you want Huuve to publish to and approve the requested permissions.
4. You land back in Huuve with the account connected.

If it fails

• No eligible accounts in the chooser: the Instagram account is still personal, or it is not linked to the Facebook Page you logged in with. Fix the account type first, then retry.
• Wrong account connected: disconnect it in Huuve, log out of Instagram and Facebook in your browser, then connect again with the right account.
• Connection stops working later: password changes and security checkups on the platform can end the session. Press Reconnect on the Connections page; your queued posts pick up where they left off.

After connecting

Your account appears under Settings, then Connectors, with one profile per account you approved. Huuve starts syncing your recent posts and their results right away, and new drafts for this channel land in your queue for approval. Nothing is published without your OK.

Disconnecting

You can disconnect any time from the Connections page. That stops all publishing and syncing for the account immediately. You can also revoke Huuve from the platform's own security settings; if you do, the connection shows as needing reconnection next time you visit.
